Need help: I Got work permit but employer not able to give joining.

Dear all

I got my Two year work permit in Aug-2013. Now my employer in Canada (alberta) is unable to give me joining.
I'm still in my country of residence, Not entered in Canada.

Now my question is that. is it possible for me to get entry in Canada border and find a new employer or
should i have to again search for new employer from outside of canada and again apply for new work permit for entry into canada.

Please help.

this is really strange??
did ur employer give any details of why they are not giving u the joining date after taking so much pain of processing the LMO for you and you successfully getting the work Permit??

they said...they don't have project...and also unable to give tantative start date also.. so i'm planning to search for new employer..
That's why i'm searching for other option.

That is so unfortunate to lose the job offer after getting the permit. You will have to find another employer before coming to Canada unfortunately, otherwise risk being turned back at the point of entry when they go to validate the work permit. I hope you will be able to research other employers in the area. I don't know the circumstances of your first employer, but staying in touch with them in a positive manner might also pay dividends in the future. The question that came to my mind was why you delayed coming to Canada since getting the WP in August? Good Luck.
