Need Help Guys, Facing problem while getting Canadian PCC

Hi Guys,

I am living on implied status here and since all my Canadian id's have expired i cannot provide 2 pieces of valid government issued id's to get PCC from Calgary police. I received an ITA in last draw and now i can't get PCC, is there anything that i can do ??

Has CIC specifically requested a Canadian PCC? If not, you don't need one. CIC do their own checks for Canada if necessary, & it's quite rare that they ask a candidate to provide their own.

In my checklist it says Police certificates( Multiple), doesn't that mean 1 from India and 1 from Canada?

Read the first line.

Then click on "if you are not a citizen of Canada". Read.

Unless and until CIC specifically requests you get a PCC from Canada, stop worrying .

P.S. *IF* you are asked for a Canadian PCC, you'd get one from the RCMP, not Calgary police. See link.

Nope, it doesn't mean you need to submit RCMP record. It's a common terminology used by CIC. You need to submit the PCC's from all the countries you lived in for more than 6 months except CANADA. If CIC need you to submit RCMP, they will ask you later through a message in your CIC account.
