Hi,
I am planning to apply for EE under CEC. My common-law partner is a Canadian citizen, so I don't get any extra point from our common-law relationship. We both filed our 2020 tax return as common-law.
In the document checklist, it states that I need to provide evidence of cohabitation if I declare common-law. However, we do not have enough proof of cohabitation. Should I still declare common-law???
If I do, will not enough proof hurt my application? If I don't, isn't that misrepresentation since I'm indeed in a common-law relationship and have declared that to CRA?
Please help me with this dilemma. Thanks!
