Need help and advice!!

Hi Everyone!

I have a question - Is some help for TFW who applied for PR under PNP - I received a nomination and my application is in Buffalo waiting for medical and file number.

My employer exploit me every day and I have to pay him for his sponsoring - when I go to work I worry if he fired me or again blame me for anything. I am not a rich! I feel bad everyday I come back home and try to not cry but is hard.

I ask some agency who suppose to help TFW but what they tell me they can do a investigation and they can only make the employer to pay me what he took from me and he probably pay some fee but not too much - he can lost a couple $$$$ but I can lost all my process time and I have to start again - so this is not help for me this is $$$ help for that agency only. My employer will hire some other TFW and exploit him too.

So is any help for us? Please if somebody can help sent me a email or post some information on forum.

Government help employers but if You ask about employees there is nothing we are only workers.

Please help I really need some advice.

Wait until you get your PR, then go to your employment standards office and complain about him. For now, just keep a record of everything he is doing and if you have evidence of paying him, keep this too. You can get him in big trouble but if you do it now, you may lose your PR application and have to start again with a new employer.

Hi!

Is a one problem everything what he doing is hard to proof - there is more than one person involve with that - and I work more hours for free so he have hand clean.

Write everything down. When you go and complain about him, the authorities can make his life a living hell. Do you have a punch clock? They will pull all his records, go over all his accounts. I heard of a company in AB where somebody complained about not being paid overtime and they completely shut down all overtime for a few months while they investigated. If you don't have a punch clock, just write everything down still, all hours you get paid for, all hours you don't get paid, incidences of him being abusive to you etc.

Get a recorder...record everything next time he threatens you...have this as a proof...tell him everything you already paid (to make him talk)...then take this recorder to a lawyer...what he is doing is illegal...he will pay fines and never hire h1bs again...

About your situation, you are fine...since you have received nomination, there is nothing to worry about...you applied for cic already, right?
So you are in the same point that I was when I left US. The only difference is that I made medicals in US and left the next day), but that is not mandatory...you can do the medicals whenever you find a medical that works for Canadia immigration...
Stop living like hell....get a proof, sue the damn guy and leave...put he in hell instead of you...

I don't think the original poster is applying for the H1B program. I think they are in Canada and applying through PNP with employer support. If that is the case, they can not leave the employer until the PR is through or they will jeopardize their PR. The recorder is a good idea though.

Many companies will push their workers or treat them badly with PNP as a carrot. My employer would make people work for 6 months before they can ask to be nominated, even though it is not required by AINP if you are on a skilled permit. They would keep the wages down, not give people promised raises, dock people time for various things which is also illegal, round down time from the punch clocks etc. And they always have it over your head that they can lay you off and tell AINP which will invalidate your nomination and you would have to scratch your waiting time and apply again with a new employer.

Yes I applied under skilled work PNP I get nomination and now my application is in Buffalo still waiting for medical request and file number (more than two months)

I write my hours but there is couple people who knows about this and they will be fight against me so is impossible to proof that.

I know I have no choice and I have to stay quite to day when I receive my PR than I can say something

there is realy some good advice for you in this forum you should thank God for this guy Leon. Just be cool you should be getting AOR and meds request anytime from now since its already been two months.Just like others have said Whatever it take be Patient with your abusive employer until you get your PR which by the grace of God will not be too Long from now.
