Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi there,

I am in Canada for the last 2 years with 1 year of work experience with skill A and no LMIA. Did a 1 year program here and then have been working for 1 year, just completed. IELTS scores: Reading:7, Listening:8,Writing:7 and Speaking:7. ECA done for my Bachelors in India.
I have 5 years of work experience back home, but the employment letters I have are not in the way CIC would want it. I am trying to arrange it but I doubt my previous employers will give it in the way CIC wants it.

Now my question:
1. I am eligible for both CIC and FSW. Can I however skip entering my non Canadian work experience to avoid getting an ITA under FSW or should I do it?
2. I am not sure what my CEC score would be without entering previous work history
3. Just an hour back I created my EE profile and twice and both times I got ineligible profile message. I didn't get any score nor does it take me to the job back.

I have no clue what is happening. I really need some help and suggestions.

How do you intend to apply via FSW if you say your ex employer in India won't give you a reference letter?

That's the thing, I have the letters but not in the format the CIC needs it. Moreover, I have read in forums that if you justify with a letter that your previous employer is not ready to give u letter in the format like CIc wants due to the company policies it is considered.

That apart my problem at hand right now is, I created my EE profile twice and both times it is ineligible. What should I do?

Well you heard wrong because that's simply not true. You'll have to obtain the reference letter from someone else such as your supervisor or colleague. Alternatively, if you have any documentary evidence such as payslips, offer of employment etc or any documents that show no of hours worked, salary, job title, duration of employment and job duties then you're good to go, if not then you'll most likely be refused.

Yes you are eligible for both CEC and FSW. to avoid geting considered for FSW you just say NO to job offer and put Fund as 0, fill rest all you work history etc you will be ineligible for FSW

2. I am not sure what my CEC score would be without entering previous work history
you can enter work history from India too so that you can get the points as you also have ECA for foreign work history and skill transf....

3. Just an hour back I created my EE profile and twice and both times I got ineligible profile message. I didn't get any score nor does it take me to the job back.
Please double check the data entered you must have done something wrong .... Try as per my inputs , I am sure it will help

I have no clue what is happening. I really need some help and suggestions.
Check my answer in Bold...thanks

Does the Canadian job fall under NOC A, B or O? Are you sure you have up to one year, which dates did you work there?

Thanks all for the answers. Really appreciate it. :)

I figured where I was going wrong. I was putting in incorrect start date for the 1 year experience and hence I was falling short of 1 year and hence I was being ineligible. Then with a friend's help I filled in all the details and put low funds for the money bringing. I got 480 points! :)
It said FWS not met and CEC met.

Now am waiting for an update email to create my job bank code.

Is you have work history but the EE profile says u are not met for FSW, are there still chances u may get an invite for FSW, although u met the CEC as per express entry profile?

If it says FSW = Not met you will not get invite in FSW category... you may want to finish completing all these soon ... as you have a good chance to get ITA in next draw ...so do it as soon as you can ... all the best ...

So here is the thing. I might be over thinking but however;
EE profile says FSW not met, CEC met.

But then I put 5 years of my work history that fetched me 50 points. And I don't have a job offer with an LMIA either. I just have a job offer in NOC 2171. So that's the reason for my worry. If they will send me an FSW invite just because I have previous work history.
Because I have been reading that people are mostly getting invited under FSW.

Also for the proof of funds what should I do? So I have to show like a stable balance in my bank account?

You are overthinking. It's a disease on this board, apparently quite contagious. You cannot get an invitation for a program you did not qualify for. You will get a CEC invitation. No one is doing this by hand, it's all done by computer, and the computer says no ;D to FSW. People who qualify for both CEC and FSW, like me, get FSW invitations. You did not qualify for FSW.

You will be asked to show proof of funds, but as a CEC candidate you do not have to meet any minimums. Get a letter from your bank according to guidelines (the balance doesn't matter) and upload it with your T4 and NoA if you have it, recent pay stubs if you don't, since you have only worked one year. Be sure your one year of Canadian employment is undoubtedly complete before you send in your application.

For your foreign experience, send the best letters you can get along with work contracts, pay stubs, whatever you can get to prove you did the job you say you did.

Do your best, document everything the best way you can, and then RELAX!

Gee! Thanks. That was pretty reassuring. Well, you know human mind apparently thinks things! ;D
Anyway, I am certainly working towards accumulating those documents.

Thank you again. Now I shall wait for that invite. :D
