Need help about online application for visitor in Australia

Hi,

Could someone help me or tell some information about online application for visitor. I'm an international students in Australia and my nationality is Vietnamese. I applied online visa application and have Biometrics Collection Letter in June 16, 2016 and came to Sydney in same day and I have got biometric and took a picturebin visa centre. Now my status is open and not started for a final decision. I read in Cic help that processing time is about 19 days. It thats mean I will have a decision after these day because 14days left but nothing update or change? so how long I got email for passport receive? could anyone know any information about this? it's my first time I applied and I don't know and feel worried.

No - it doesn't meant that you will have a response within 19 days. It's quite possible it could take longer - even a few months. It's impossible for any of us to day when you will hear from CIC.

Thanks for your support. so processing time is different from others? what I do now is waiting Because when I applied, conditions need me book a fight ticket so I worried about this.

I have email from cic that original passport request. I need to send this to VAC in sydney? so what documents that I need to send? my passport and copy of letter request? VAC fee and prepaid envelope to return documents? right? Could anyone in Australia tell me detail? and how long I could have my passport returned?

Hi, how it goes with you sending the passport? Are you sending through VAC as there will be fees involved? I just wondering if we can send directly to Visa office like what has been done in other country
