Hi All,

I am arranging all relevant documents for 2016 PNPs so that I can apply as soon as I can once they are open again. I have organized everthing but have query regarding bank-statements.

(1). Forgive my ignorance on this.Would it be acceptable to prepare balance Certificate now, to be used in future. I already have enough funds to prove eligibility. I am asking this because my bank here takes 3 days to prepare the certificate and I don't want to lose any days as soon as the PNP opens.

(2). I am single. i.e. eligible funds limit is 11,943 CAD. Does it mean that each month of my last 3 months the balance of 11,943CAD has to be present?
For example, I just reached this threshold last month. Would it be a problem that I have reached the threshold last month only. Or the only want to take note that I have the minimum threshold required. Is it a reason for rejection.

However, the account is my own. Salary ins & outs and net balances can be easily tracked.

Please guide me on above. Especially on (2).

Since you applied on 10th Oct'15, you can still receive PNP (if found eligible) this year as the quota is still not exhausted(hopefully). So why are you saying i am preparing for 2016 (although it's not a bad idea).

(1). Forgive my ignorance on this.Would it be acceptable to prepare balance Certificate now, to be used in future. I already have enough funds to prove eligibility. Once you receive PT Notification you'll have good 45 Days to apply, so there is no hurry. You can take your time to arrange all the requisite documents (including PoF, 2~3 days is hardly a big deal)) and send them once you are satisfied that all documents are in order. Try to make the PoF as close to the submission data as practically possible.

(2). I am single. i.e. eligible funds limit is 11,943 CAD. Does it mean that each month of my last 3 months the balance of 11,943CAD has to be present?

As per CIC as long as you have a minimum balance of the above amount in your account as shown in your PoF, you are fine.

However, the account is my own. Salary ins & outs and net balances can be easily tracked.

Hello Canadawecome,

Thanks for your detailed reply.

Just wanted to clarify. I am not talking about post PT. I am talking about sending my initial application (Forms and copies of documents as asked in application guide) in provinces in which I am eligible. For example, Nova Scotia. Another example Saskatchwan, which increased the cap and it was filled in 4 days.

Actually the only province I am eligible for as of today is Nova Scotia. But given that they only added 350 seats more on September 2015. Its already November now and I am thinking if I apply now, the quota will be almost full and they mayreturn my application. Until I get my returned application, I cannot apply for new PNP quota next year; as I wouldve' not known actual outcome (Keeping in mind that many people who applied in 2014 got their files returned 7 to 8 months after).

So rather than flying blind, I thought to be patient and apply in 2016 as soon as programme opens.

So in that case, can you reply on the query (1): Would it be acceptable to prepare balance Certificate now, to be used in future. I already have enough funds to prove eligibility. I am asking this because my bank here takes 3 days to prepare the certificate and I don't want to lose any days as soon as the PNP opens.

Sure you can do that. But 45 days is more than enough to be ready for any PNP documentations. So even if you wanna be ready on 1st of Jan'16, you may well start off mid Nov/ beginning Dec'15.

As i said earlier, since it takes only 3~4 days for PoF, you can do it end Dec'15 or beginning Jan'16.

Also you never know with CRS440 you may even get an ITA without any PNP points. So no harm in Hoping for the best but being prepared for the worst.

Noted. Makes sense totally.

Thanks so much Canadawecome.
