hello, hope this thread finds you well. i've applied for a study permit in march originally intended to attend the may semester with everything completed upfront including submission of passport, received aip officially through email on August 27th but before that on July i raised an webform inquiring about the latest status of my SP application mentioning i would like to commence my studies as soon as possible. But i didn't opt on for fall semester but rather decided to start from winter 2021.

what i am asking is, I haven't updated or submitted any new LOA ever since, since my LOA is already valid for May, September and January 2021 semester. and when asked for a new LOA my university said I won't be needing a new one. do i need to inform IRCC about this or shall i just leave it be and start from January whether online or not?

No one looks at the requirements and rules before submitting a new one :(

Defere session may lead your visa refusal in 2nd stage. This idea I got from this guy who'd received a called from IRCC.

I'm quoting his statement
He also mentioned that they may ask additional documents such as course enrolment verification and updated financial proof in the future for final approval, or they may issue it automatically.

You see the visa officer/IRCC said enrollment verification means they expecting students to start online. I don't know to be honest what's gonna happen but it seems not enrolling online classes may lead to 2nd stage refusal. Maybe I'm not right but if that visa officer meant it then there will be some issues.

Anyway good luck to all.

that raises a lot of concern, registration for fall sem is closed for my uni and many people here are also deferring to jan sem. hope it works out just fine :(
