Need assistance with E-Cas strange update!

Hi all,
My friend's status was updated today in a crazy way!
She has an old 2006 application at one visa office and a new fast track in another. She has done medicals and submitted passports. Before today, her status was in process. Now it is still in process but another status line (also in process) has been added! When clicked it shows incomplete information from the OLD application! Remember that she has logged in using the NEW file number. Can anyone explain this please?

I think it is not a problem. As you have two submitted application, with the single search both information can be appeared. Dont worry for that.

Thank you, but the information for the old application is not complete when compared with information obtained by logging in through the OLD file number! Also loging in using the OLD file number does NOT show information from the NEW one!

it is not strange...even i had an old refused application...when i check e cas it shows both the application older one is decision made and the latest in process so dont worry

yeah i don't think its something to worry, i had sent two applications by mistake, so my ECAS status shows, Recvd by visa office, and second line shows withdrawn. I think unique ID is passport no, and if against one passport no there are two entries in their system. both are reflected in ECAS status, whether checking with old or new file no.
