Does the immigration refugee board suppose to keep passports after your case has been denied?
If so, for what reason do they hold the passport???
How can you get the passport back? OR what can you do to get your passport back from them?

IRB doesn't hold the passport, CBSA does. If you have been denied as a Refugee, then they are probably not going to give it back to you until they are ready to remove you.
