I also would like to know what are the experiences of others regarding the topic this is the latest. I am a sponsor of my wife here in Canada and recently , i had received an email asking my wife to send the passport, documents and receipts of Right of Permanent Resident Fee to the Canadian Embassy , Manila. We were given 45 days from June 2, 2014 to submit the needed requirements. My wife had search and ask what company couriers delivers needed documents to Canadian Embassy Manila. In my experienced before , i used Air21 in sending and receiving my passport and documents to Canadian Embassy , Manila but that was year 2012. But now my wife said that Air21 is only delivering passports and documents for visa stamping but not getting it back from the Canadian Embassy. So i would like to know the experiences of others this month of June /July 2014 their experienced. I am taking the explanation of the Air21 today that a new policy of Canadian Embassy is what they are following, they just deliver the passport and documents. Returning back of passport with visa is not clear? So share your experienced, thanks...
Sometimes they courier it out collect and you better have 400 pesos to pay the courier when he arrives with your package. They will not let you know if and when they sent out the passport. They will not provide a tracking number. They will not answer inquiries, unless you are over the 14 months of processing time. Faceless, compassionless, unionized bureaucrats.
you may try referring to vfsglobal website. I sent my cousin's application via lbc and enclosed a PRE-PAId self-stamped envelope. just to be sure (although according to the website it will return unused since they are sending it via 2G0) i dont how's the payment.
