Interview........
04/04/2011
The Mis. office received our applicatn on Jan 26/2011, sponsorship approved on Feb.23, Accra VO recieved on March 02.Today, my husband got an email from Accra with an interview date of April 04. They asked him to bring supporting documents, but did not specify what. The letter just said among other things, for him to bring his passport and other supporting doc. My Question is what docs should he take and what should he expect. We didn't even get any message to say that his medicals has been recieved. Am not sure but does everyone get the message for medicals recieved? ( He did his medicals in Dec/2010).
We will apprciate responses to our questions plus any additional advise.
Thanks everyone.

You can ask him to take with him documents like call details, chat transcript, anything which you haven't provided them in the file yet....I mean documents which you might have collected after submitting the file, so they can see that you guys were still in touch after the file was submitted to them. You can also try ordering CAIP notes, which will at least give you an idea why they are conducting interview.....so you can work on it to proof your relationship. I heard it takes at least 3-4weeks for them to mail CAIP notes, so do it ASAP.

The rest I guess other senior members/member can advise you and give their input to help you out. Wish you and your hubby goodluck :) !

Hey I just notice the interview is on april.....try calling them and see if they could fax it for you and I am sure they can help you with it and understand ur situation.

He needs to bring anything showing you have been in contact, especially since your marriage and since the application was submitted: chat logs, telephone bills, money transfer receipts, all of those things.

Wow, this seems very very fast!! :o I'll add you to the January thread when I get home from work.

Thanks every1.
