need advise on express entry

Dear friends,

myself a new canadian immigrant, I have just appeared for Ielts exam, I got 5.5 in writing & rest 7.0 each. so i will appear again in IELTS.
please suggest me while i was wait for my ielts exam can i apply Express profile and later update my Ielts score..
my wife Ielts score will be 5.0 on each maximum. if she secure 5.0 in each i will be Than ful to you.
it would be good effort from her side. her result will come on 10 july.
Now, my Question is can I apply for my Express entry befiore getting IELTS result..

Short answer - Yes. You can create the EE profile now and update IELTS score later before getting an ITA.

U just answered the question i have in mind.. so i can create EE Profile now and just update my IELTS results, what about ITA? what does ITA stands for? what does it mean? sorry if it a stupid question..i am just doing some planning and about to apply as immigrant and i have not done anything yet coz i really dont know where to start.. can u pls help me what's my VERY FIRST STEP to do? thsnks
