Hi,
We landed in Alberta in Oct 2011 as part of the AINP program. Currently we are not in Canada. I think one has to stay for 3 years in a five year period to maintain their permanent residency. Our residency started in Oct 2011 as of landing and I think if I want to move to Canada I have to do so in 2014. Do you think this is a good idea. Or certain laws have changed recently. Pls. advise and thank you so much.

You must live in Canada two out of every five rolling years to maintain PR (not three).

Thanks a lot Scylla for the clarification.
Is it possible that I can move to Canada at a later date (2014) even though we got our PR in 2011?
