I am a resident of Canada, married and have 2 kids. Sponsored my mother who is now also a resident of Canada. My mum has several medical issues that require constant assistance. My sister in her 40s (and a widow) only has a visitors visa for Canada. She helps my mother a lot when she visits but I am looking to help her immigrate to canada. Not sure what the best class of immigration would be for her, as in should she apply as a caregiver or a skilled worker etc? I hear there are new changes coming to the caregiver program but I am not sure if I can hire her as a caregiver for her to immigrate? What is the best way to get her to move to Canada? What class would work best?

Ask your questions at the caregiver section. You won't be able to sponsor her under Family Class.

In general, she needs to be trained/educated as a caregiver and you need to do something to register as an employer and proof that you have enough income to hire a caregiver with proper wages.
