For Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship program, I realized that there is a discrepancy in the information previously provided in my parents' visa application.

Specifically, the actual high school begin/graduation date does not match the date that was submitted in their earlier visa application, also there was a gap year after the high school not mentioned in previous visa application.

Does this inconsistency might be considered a misrepresentation? I believe this was an unintentional mistake by my mom and I think the high school and gap year would never affect the result of either my mom's visa or PR application. it is just her bad memory and correcting now.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Should I proactively address this discrepancy with IRCC, or just go ahead with matching the previous info provided (that will probably cause a discrepancy)?

Thank you in advance for your help!

That's a minor mistake and it is not even affecting her visa or PR application (not like EE or other economic stream which education would count towards the points).

Enter the correct information in the current application. If you are worried, you can include a letter of explanation LOE to the dates and the discrepancy. It won't be any issue if you are up front of the mistake.
