I'm currently under pgwp, it will expire on feb 2025.
I graduated in BC and moved to Manitoba for my first job. I started working in Sept 2021 and I changed job in December 2022 (so I have 1 yoe already). Both jobs are still in Manitoba and fall under NOC 21230
The original plan was going through MB PNP skilled worker in manitoba through my first employment but I opted against that because of I can't bear the toxic work culture.
That route requires pgwp(out of province graduate ) holder to work for 1 year with current employer before eligible pnp. So moving employer reset that timer. Not only that, but the current points make it mathematically impossible to apply as out of province international student regardless. Its been like that since last year they reopen cec
I'm on the fence on what should I do. My PGWP is expiring in 2 years. I will have my 2 yoe (for EE) in Oct 2022 but that won't be enough unless I break CLB 9. I'm currently waiting for the summer before reattemptting IELTS. I only have clb 8 rn
Assuming crs are still around 490 ish. With the new bill coming up, I'm not sure how it'd affect things
My boss offers to move me to SK (by next year) where I can get SK PNP easily. Any ideas ?
