Hi,
Thank you all for whoever helped me come to this far, I have 2 letters in the same format/content ready for proving my job duty, due to
1. my previous employer does not give a letter with job duty
2. my job title is weird AF and CIC can not tell what did I actually do.

Below is the letter, really appreciate if anybody can share any improvements I should add!

Subject: Employment Reference letter for Ziah6237

Dear Officer,

My name is CO-WORKER and I have been working as a JOB-TITLE for COMPANYNAME since 2014. I am a member of a team responsible for developing applications for various platforms. Ziah6237 worked for 6 months at COMPANYNAME, and we were on the same team.

During the time he was at the company, Ziah6237 and I worked on similar projects and tasks. As members of the same team, we had daily stand-up meetings together and I reviewed his code on a regular basis. While he was working as a junior developer, he was able to solve complex issues and deliver fixes on time. He demonstrated great communication skills, and he was a supportive team member. His job responsibilities were as follows:

  • Gather input and requirements from the team, and assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements

  • Write, modify, integrate and test software code; design and create reusable JavaScript libraries while understanding back-end features

  • Work on next-gen media streaming components

  • Implement features within a team using best practices to meet product or solution deliverables

  • Refactor code to increase operating efficiency and extensibility, and adapt programs to new requirements

  • Prepare software packages and documentation for deployment that adhere to the defined standard deployment policies

  • Respond to critical production issues by providing timely and effective solutions or guidelines

  • Occasionally work on user interface components

I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Sincerely,

CO-WORKER
