Need advice!! Missing docs in the sent application...

Guys - i sent in my completed application to CIC and it reached tem on Sep 22.

just when i started reading this forum, i realized that i had forgot to include copy of my foreign education credential (copy of degree and arksheets). i only sent the WES evaluation original.

I am sure now that my application is going to be rejected ; but looking for advice here. what do i do out of the 2 options below ??

Option 1:
Wait for CIC to reject and send back the application so i can include the docs and resubmit (here i run the risk that if CIC returns it late , then it might be too late for me to send in the application again considering my application has only reached them on sep 22)

Option2:
Send additional documents in a seperate package explaining to CIC that it was ommitted from my previous application by mistake .Do you think that will work?

Hi PMM - thanks for the response..

i thought about the same (ie the marrying effort)..

however, one way to look at it is they do this marrying effort anyway to include the PCC which a lot of applicants generally send as an addendum to the original application that they send.
Hence i see no reason why they technically cannot do it . I am obviously being a bit optimistic here but i would better go ahead and take the chance rather than waiting for something to happen without attempting to influence it.
What do you think?
i asked this question in another forum and one of the members mentioned that he has known quite a few appplicants who have done it and received PER..
Thoughts?

Some applicants have been successful at sending additional documents to CIC. You can do the same and try although it's not 100% guaranteed. Send them the copies of degree and transcript by courier along with a coverletter stating all your identifying information (UCI # if available, DOB, full name, passport number, and the date original application was received by CIC) and also ask them to notify you upon the receipt of this package. Once you send the courier, also send an email to CIC with the same coverletter, electronic copies of the documents, and tracking information of the package. Since you sent the application in September, chances are very good that the recent documents would be combined with the old one.

A) Would you know what the email id to write to CIC ?

A) Try this: CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca
Don't expect any reply from them anytime soon.
B)If you had a previous application with CIC then you would have a UCI number. If it's your first time applying with CIC then you wouldn't.

Also make sure you clearly mark your package as additional document.

I completely agree with you. They've made clear instructions about application process and it is our mistake if we couldn't folow them through. I've seen dozens of people in this forum who "just forgot to mail one paper" (who knows, I might be one of them) and they expect CIC employees to dig through hills of applications just to pair up the additional document that they had mailed later with the original documents, they are too slow per se. If I was a CIC officer I would be the first one to say that it is not my job to correct other's mistakes. I see many forum members advising others to send an e-mail and "just explain what happened" but I've never seen anyone wrote that this thing had actually worked out.
If I made such a mistake and was aware of it I would mail a new application. You already have all the documents, except IELTS results which you can request a copy from BC. It is much better than gambling to see if they are going to read your mail and search for papers. And if it doesn't pass, you'll lose 2-3-4 months for nothing.
@aishar - I think tah PCCs that you are talking about are beeing sent at a later stage and to visa offices.

@emiiuki - thanks for your response. whatever you say makes sense. only issue from my side is i cannot obtain an additional test result from BC because they dont issue it to candidates (they can issue additional copies only if we want them to send it directly to institutions). I have no other option here now with this constraint.

Ielts date 22 nov 23 needed ( have to score 7+ in each module)
total 68

now just wanna to know that i have applied for educational assessment through WES ..... got my transcripts ... now i have to courier it on a given address... plzz give me the address where to be courier these transcripts??? ... and fees is $201 .or $299.. ??

Also my expected date of Ielts result is about 6 dec 2014... can i apply ... ??

and i have to submit this.....1) Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] 2) Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] 3) Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] ........ and all 11 forms at once or step by step...

And do i need a laywer who signature are req on my application... someone told me you need an laywer who will charge around $1200 for it ???

All - just to close loop on this topic..i finally sent the additional docs to CIO with an explanatory covering letter supporting the original application.Now wait and watch time..Thanks to everyone on this thread for the thoughts and advice offered. i will post you guys on the outcome regardless of what it is , so it is beneficial for future applicants.
