Need Advice: Late entry into Canada after class start date

Hi,

I am going to start classes for Fall 2021 online and have got my study permit approved already. I was wondering if I could enter Canada after around 2 weeks of my class start date. Since I want to be fully vaccinated before I travel. I have approval from my supervisor in Canada and my university. Will there be any problems in immigration and getting the study permit at the POE ? Thanks!

Shouldn’t be. I would bring a copy of the email from your supervisor. You have a reasonable reason for delaying entry. If questioned I would show the permission letter and that you delayed so that you would be vaccinated plus 14 days (to make sure vaccine is effective) so you could enter Canada as fully vaccinated.
