Hi

My brother who is Indian resident and currently residing in Thailand recieved ITA on 24th Feb, I am trying to help him out in his application but I am really confused in few areas, please help if anyone can

1: Work Experience -> He was hired as Leadership Associate in 2012 for 1st year where he worked in 4 different sub divisions of the same company for 3 months each, After his probation period of 12 months he was transferred to Thailand Chemical Plant in 2013 for no actual Job title but Band 9 Job position which is there own system of categorizing jobs but basically working in production supply chain division and had a planning role and same NOC as his current job title, In 2014 June he was promoted to Assistant General Manager of production department which is actually NOC 0911. He had paid work since 2012 in same company but just under different divisions. In work experience, how many years of work experience he should claim ?? Should he mention all different positions in Express entry form or just current position ??

2: Financials -> He has almost $25k CAD in his Thai bank account but bank is not willing to provide any letter for bank details except bank statements. What can we do in this situation ??

3: Police Certificate -> He has Indian police clearance certificate but is Thai certificate won't be ready until 18th April, and thai authorities can delay it as well.. he does have receipt though that he applied and is waiting for the, should he submit forms to CIC before that with explanation letter or should wait for certificates and submit application later, his deadline is 24th April.

Need your advice pleasee !!!!

Hi,
Although I am not expert but feel like sharing some thing on these issues. You are welcome to get advice from other senior members also before taking final decision.
1. There are different type of designations used in different countries and companies. Mainly Functional and Professional. In either, the nature of duties should match with the NOC you are choosing for claiming experience. It should clearly reflect on work reference letter by immediate superior. THis letter should also mention pay stubs, working hours, etc.
2. Letter from Bank is must apart from AC statement. If bank is not willing to give, better to go form FD kind of thing for which letter is not essential or plan to open fresh bank Ac who can give letter for this purpose. Must be well in advance. The funds should be available in Ac for at least 6 months. FD no issue as you can show source of fund from your own other bank Ac.
3. He need to upload the acknowledgement from Thai police that it is already applied for PCC and a LOE for explaining the situation.
All the best.

1. He needs to choose the positions that fall under the NOC he is basing his application on. Those work experiences are the ones compulsoryh for him to declare. The others are optional.

2. Alot of banks will not give letters in CIC format. Im my case i got bank statements, a letter of non indebtedness from the bank as well as a reference letter from the bank stating that when my account was open and that my accounts have been operated satisfactorily.

3. Not sure about PCC. So far I know CIC allows applicants to submit ther application without FBI PCC. If he won't have the PCC by the deadline for submission, I guess he can provide the receipts of payment, and all evidence to show when he requested and why he could not submit it upfront and when it will be ready

If you get 400+, you stand a chance to get PT NOI from Ontario and for other PNPs check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp.

IELTS of the primary applicant plays a very important role in improving CRS score, therefore I would suggest that the primary applicant should target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculators below and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

The quick ways to improve scores are:
1. ECA for both primary applicant and spouse
2. Improve IELTS score for primary applicant and spouse

Other options to get ITA are:
1. PNP (check the link I shared above)
2. LMIA based job offer. With regard to the question of getting a job offer, as far as I know and heard is that companies generally do not entertain interviews for overseas candidates as they are not sure about when you would be landing in Canada. So the closest you can get to get an interview call is once you have landed in Canada. You can be only sure of getting a job offer only if your skills and experience is niche and Canadian employers are not able to meet their requirement locally.

1. Reference letter or letters, have to state clearly functions according with claimed NOC, start/end date and salary, at least.

One reference letter for every NOC or a common letter which separated explanation for every NOC should work.

Note that you have to submit Reference Letter for every work you get points for you ITA, otherwise you have to remove work experience not supported by letter and lose some points (no problem if you still over the draw minimum score)

2. Banks statements, stamped by the bank could work, but you can try to get some letter advising you could move all your money to other bank (which is not a good idea, because you need 6 months of statements)

If a bank letter is not possible, write down a explanation letter instead and add any documents you can get (bank account opening date...)

3. As said, if deadline is close, upload your receipt and an explanatory letter about the delay.

Thank You everyone for reply's

Work Experience : If NOC stays same , is one letter enough even with different job titles ?

Financials : Thai banks don't help you in any way, tried everything already.. tbey are not willing to even do one extra work apart from their main reaponsibilities.

If you're claiming only one NOC, only one letter is enough, just be sure duties matches NOC.

You don't have record when bank account was open (paper or online)?

If you only have 6 months of statements just add a Explanation Letter about bank is not willing to provide more info (if bank can write them are not allowed to do it should be great)
