Hi. Just got my CoPR last week. Still can't decide where to go for my PR landing. I got a US visa and I did travel last year but my TRV as a TFW were already expired. I called CIC and the waiting period in Edmonton is 6-8 weeks. if I'm going to travel to US do I need TRV or PRTD for my re-entry to Canada? Or is it better to do it by land in any border? Getting some different impressions about Montana border, Is there any Border near Alberta besides Montana? Will be starting a new job soon, I was hoping to do my landing before I start to my new job so I won't be asking for leave of absence from work.

Thank you for those who will reply to my enquiry.

I'm not sure if I understand your question... If you already has the CoPR, that's your immigrant visa to enter Canada. You don't really need your TRV any more. In fact any other visa you have is now invalid due to the immigrant visa you just got...

Agreed. All you need is your COPR.

I'm planning to go outside Canada for my landing so I just need my CoPR to present as my travel document in Immigration?
