Need advice: eye sight problem

Dear PMM,

I will have to appear for medical soon. I've eye sight problem: right eye is 6/6 with glasses, while left eye is 6/24. I consulted a number of opthamologists (eye specialists) about left eye. They told that this was same since childhood and it has no treatment. But in daily life I feel no problem at office or anywhere doing anything. Visually both eyes look normal. Will I be able to pass medical test?

Assuming that there is no organic cause for the eyesight and it is not deterorating, and it is corrected with glasses, there should not be a problem.

Thank you very much PMM for your prompt response. My eye sight is not deteriorating since childhood, about 25 years ago. I consulted with 3 ophthalmologist, they told that there was no treatment to make left eye 6/6 and there will be no imporvement with glasses. None of the ophthalmoligists recommended any medicine as I do not suffer from any eye disease. They also emphasized that it will not deteriorate, it will remain as it is. I'm software developer and never felt any problem at work place. I work without glasses and feel normal because right eye is perfectly normal. Visually both eyes look same and normal. Shall I be able to pass medical test or I need to do something?

I got MR, but have high blood pressure (150/90) for last one year. Do you think it could affect my case? Should I take drugs before the test? Please help.
