I am a Canadian citizen, my wife is Chinese and our six month old baby is a Canadian citizen.

I would like to bring my family to Canada together to visit my parents, grandparents and siblings this summer.

We just have a few problems.

1. We are currently living and working in Yemen and there is no Canadian Embassy here ( I have emailed many embassies in the region but none have responded to my inquiries).
2. My wife is a homemaker who's responsibility is looking after our daughter (she does not own a house or any property in China)
3. We have funds in a Chinese bank account but have no actual bank documents to show the embassy
4. We have a co-signer and invitation letter from my parents
5. We have proof of our relationship and marriage status.
6. Our baby was born in Thailand last September
7. Our baby has her Canadian citizenship

Which visa is best to apply for? Do we have any hope of getting home this summer? Will the Canadian embassy refuse a mother's right to travel with a young infant and in turn refuse our daughter as a someone who is dependent on her the right to visit her own country?

My mother and father are currently living in Thailand for six months per year and will be co-signers on any visa application I submit. My wife and I have been living together uninterrupted for the past 5 years. WE have been married for 14 months and have a 6 month old daughter. We would not like to be separated for any amount of time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

The Canadian embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for Yemen as well. However, temporary resident visa applications for people in Yemen are processed in Abu Dhabi, UAE, according to the CIC website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/offices/apply-where.asp

It is difficult to get a TRV for a spouse of a Canadian citizen, the reasoning being that the foreign spouse will probably refuse to leave Canada before the visa expires. So the applicant must show strong ties to his/her home country or country of residence. So your wife would have to show ties to Yemen, since she is living there now and will return there once she leaves Canada. Ties such as a lease/mortgage/house ownership in her name or both your names, bank accounts in Yemen, etc. She can also use her ties to you as proof she will return to Yemen - so you can show that you will return for sure, showing for example a letter from your boss giving you a certain amount of time off and stating you are expected back, a lease or mortgage in your name only, utility bills (better if in both names, but just your name would be enough in your situation), whatever you have that can show that because you will return to Yemen, so will she because you are in a genuine relationship.

If you are planning to return to Canada to live any time soon, you could sponsor her as your spouse for a PR visa. If she is from the part of China where applicants will be processed in Beijing, she could have her PR visa very quickly. However, you would then have to prove that you will leave Yemen and go back to live in Canada, so it may not be a suitable visa for your situation now.
