Hi everyone this is my first post and i am in very serious situation
i am currently working as a food service supervisr (noc 6311) from two years and my status expired recently but currently on implied status (sent an application for work permit extension) . I meet an immigration consultant about pre approved lmia of noc 1215 as i have some of that job duties same what i am doing in job noc code 6311 as a supervisor.
So my query is that is it possible that i got approved in noc 1215 lmia application with work experience in noc 6311 , in case if yes , will that lmia help me in getting ita in express entry right now my points are 358 in EE.
please reply it will be very much appriciated ....

I'd be inclined to say that a pre-approved LMIA is a scam.

How much did they want to charge?

They are called 'un-named' LMIA's. Basically if an employer is aware that they were going to have several roles that they expected foreign workers to fill, they could get approval and then find a suitable person to fill the role.

Tough to get, they would have to have advertised for ages and really prove that no Canadians were willing to do the job. Rare but more common at the height of the oil boom.

Scam. Don't pay him unless you never want to see your money again.
