Well, as the question says; I can request for a copy of my transcript in a sealed envelope. But how do I produce an 'official copy' or my degree ? Is it just a photocopy that is notarized?
Anyone in the NED alumni can help me out here?
Thanks

heyyy u can go to white house and give your complete set of documents in the last window. There is a person named Hafeez, he actually sends all the documents to the international universities. An official copy is the one which is sent by NED directly to the University in which u want admission. official copy could be original transcript or photocopy of that transcript. here is the no. of Hafeez: 03332170749 ;D ;D ;D

Rule of Official copy: A copy of degree/transcript verified and sealed by the issuing institute is considered as official copy.

It does not matter whether the issuing institute send it directly or you send it as long as it is sealed.

Thanks Khan for the very useful info. But is this process you mentioned for the transcript or the degree?

Thanks Inam, so its basically a photocopy which is endorsed by the university itself and then sealed in an envelope? Does the envelope need to be university's official with logo etc or a standard envelope would be fine ?

When the university is sealing it for you then they would seal only their own (with logos) envelope. I think it should be the official envelope.

IT could be both ...

you can send official transcript attested and sealed and alos photocopy og the transcript with attested and sealed...

Both options have different charges...

If you want to send photocopy then you have to provide a photocopy to Hafeez whether transcript or degree.. it will attest and sealed then mail...

But if you want official transcript then it will take 15 days time to produce one then attest then sealed..

You just visit hafeez in white house.. he will tell you all the details...

Thanks buddy. Just a minor thingy that I am from IIEE, hope you have heard about it. So the transcripts will be issued from IIEE itself and is not a big problem (almost half of the clerical staff is on my buddy list ;) ). Its just the degree from NED which was a bigger problem.
I guess I will just get the degree's photocopy attested.

Thanks all for the help !!
Cheers.
