March 2022 Spousal sponsorship applicant (family class) - We received Interview request letter to attend in-person at New Delhi Visa office India. However, PA is in Canada on Visitor visa and we already raised webform for address change & address have been updated. What should we do now?

Normally if an interview is required then it needs to be attended in person at the visa office processing your application. What date have you been given?

Had you updated the address of your spouse on the sponsorship application when she came to Canada to visit? When and when did they arrive in Canada? How long have they been visiting Canada? Unfortunately one of the risks of visiting while applying Outland is the possibility that the person may have to return to do an interview.

can you please provide a background of your relationship? Married or common-law? How you known the PA? this is just for my information, I too have a spousal sponsorship in progress
