i JUST ATTENDED THE SESSION IN UAE , after the information session all people who met the criteria of 67 points and eligible occupation and have their ECA report and IELTS or TEF ready with them are getting Invitation letter on spot and start to prepare their application within 45 days

Hi mosbah85,

I have a couple of queries:
1. Do they tell what are the eligible occupations before giving ITA? Is 2283 an eligible occupation?
2. Do they need to see the original IELTS results and Original hard copy of ECA? Do they keep a copy of IELTS and ECA? I have lost the hard copy of my ECA and just wanted to know if i take the printout of the soft copy provided by WES if that would be ok?

Thats great news.... Was there any mention on when it would happen in India. We were not given approval to travel to the gulf to attend the session as they held that there are info sessions in India later in the year. Can anyone add to this?

Their initial plan was to have the India sessions during the fourth quarter of the year. However, they received hundreds and hundreds of applications in the recent middle east info sessions, so I think they'll rethink their strategies on the matter. It will happen for sure, but as to when, how many will they invite, and the procedures are - that is left uncertain for now.

waiting with fingers crossed. But I feel that they will move as per their schedule since they expect more allocations to them than the previous year. This is due to the fact that CIC is running seriously behind their intake targets for 2016.

They post the latest info session schedules there. So far this month of August, they only have London. I would also suggest you check the New Brunswick thread in the Provincial Nomination Program page (not here in Express Entry). Lots of active posters there so you will always be in the know.

Cant since my NOC doesn't come in the Sas or Nova Scotia list
