Hi

I am preapring for Canada Immigration after I got CSQ. In the Checklist (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf)

section Identity and Clivil Status Documents

1) National IDs, Family/household registry/book (If applicable)

what does that mean is National IDs are mendatory?

what If I send Family/household registry/book?

Note: Comma b/w National IDs, Family/household registry/book

Please advice.

Regards

Others can comment but the clue is in the wording 'if applicable'.

Basically the section lists everything that someone might be able to provide copies of to support their application in terms of their identity and status. Many countries do not for example have national id cards, UK for example but do have birth certificates, marriage certificates and so on.
