Canada as far as I know deoes not have an id document, I'm guess Australia doesnt either, I think it's means for countries like China, that does, I would just put na, although someone, with more experience here might tell you otherwise.

Hi Canadians do not have a national identity document and most visa exempt countries do not have this......China, Cuba places as such have National Identity Cards. Just leave blank or put n/a

Yeah, Australia doesn't have a NID.
