Name is passport is wrong... PLEASE HELP

Hello

I just received my work permit and when I renewed my SIN they told me my name is in the wrong order on the work permit, when I contacted immigration, they said that the name is in the wrong order on the passport, so my first name is my last name and my last name is my first.... I am now worried that Buffalo will notice this and reject my application...

I contacted the Indian embassy in Edmonton and they said to do a renewal of my passport... but I'm confused if it is a renewal or new passport application as the guy on the phone didn't sound like he was sure either.

Will this effect my immigration application in Buffalo at all, I have been in Canada for 8 yrs and all my work permits had my name in the correct order and now when I finally have my application at Buffalo I've been told that it was the wrong way round...!!!

Please help...

Dear ... first thing first. U need to apply for correction of name on your passport. Send clarification letter to CHC with the copy of your application for amendment of PP. U can not any way sit back and wait for any unfortunate event. Act immediately and inform authorities.

Yep I agree u need to reapply for a correction of name ASAP
