There is a mismatch of name in punjabi university(India) registration records and degree/marksheets issued by university. The registration does not have my surname but degree/marksheets have.which for now is in sync with my post grad degree and passport.
This is a definitely a miss from university but don’t know how to get this fixed.
Due to this mismatch university in not issuing me the transcripts as they say there is mismatch. Now, I have been given 2 options-
1- get the registration name changed at university as per the passport and degree. But for that first I have to get name changed in class 10th & 12th certificate as there also to do not have surname.
2- surrender all my marksheets and degree to university and get the surname removed and then get the transcripts. But then name in my graduation degree will be differ from my passport and postgraduate degree
Two queries that I have here is -
A) which option should go with?
B) if I go with option 2 then will there be any issues later(applying for work permit/visa for somewhere) which I cannot fore see now?
Need suggestions.
