Nothing really. I would notifiy CIC that you changed your official last name to reflect that of your husband, but it really won't have an effect on anything. The sponsor only requires approval to sponsor applicant there isn't any official paperwork involved after that point that would be held up due to a name change.lheenj said:
Just call CIC, let them know you, as the sponsor, changed your last name recently to reflect that of your spouse. They may or may not ask you to send them a new copy of your passport or whatever document you changed.
