Name change showing ECAS

Anyone asking for name change in the citizenship process can let me know if the name change in the ECAS (Do you need to input your new name to check your status)
Can somebody share the timeline for legal name changing/citizenship application.
I am here close to 12 months no test invite. Ontario applicant/Hamilton. THANKS

I am in the same situation,I have 3 days away from completing a year, my name changed In my status after I resived my renewed PR last month. It’s still in process no test invite yet, you should put your new name when your status

Thanks .. I renewed my PR card and they by mistake didn't process the change.. (Very frustrated) so I just summit a reissue of the card.. Can I ask how long to process your name change in the PR card. What office are you applying. Thanks

Hi, I changed my first name and took my husbands last name, when I got the PR they only changed my first name and kept my last name. It took about 4 months for my PR to be renewed, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they made a mistake in both of our PR’s I haven’t submitted a reissue, it’s the Mississauga office.

by the way when I applied for my PR renewal I sent both my name change certificates

I summit a legal name change certificate by Ontario government, My ecas after 1 year still with my old name no changes

Nawal, how did you advise CIC for your name change for a citizenship file? Through the web form? If yes, did you do it AFTER you received a new PR card in a new name. Thank you in advance.
