Name Change in PR Card required for Applying for Citizenship?

I had updated my Son Last name and have changed the same in Indian Passport and got required "Change of Name" certificate from Ontario. Now whether can I apply for Citizenship directly without changing name in PR card?

This wouldn’t be a problem.

My PR card was in my maiden name and my passport is in my married name. I submitted my marriage certificate with my application.

Now, as for you, you can submit the “change of name” certificate together with the application. It is one of the requirements.
