name change after passport reissue

Hello,

I have applied for new passposrt due to my name change as well as expiry is nearby.However my WES profile was created using Old name as well as IELTS was given using old name/passport.

Will it affect my application?

Or do I need to reappear for IELTS and also need to create new WES profile?

No I don’t think so . When you apply for application, make sure you attach copies of your old passport with new one . Also make sure you attach a notarized affidavit that says you changed your name and your old name was this and new is this.

Hello Vaidhai,
when you apply you will be asked if you have ever changed your name. Obviously answer by yes. Moreover, you can add a letter of explanation in your application stating that the IELTS and WES were assessed before the name change. Don't worry.

Hey,

On applying for PCC - BLS Toronto rejected the application because my passport does not have my spouse name. They have asked me to reissue the passport. I do not have enough time to reissue the passport.

I did attach the marriage certificate and details. It got rejected.

Is there a work around here? Can I reapply for my PCC as single status instead and both of us can get individual PCC's for the PR application? There isnt simply enough time to reissue the passport
