Hi. My wife got her student permit while I have my open work permit. We are both Filipinos and will go to Canada via NAIA. During the immigration procedures at NAIA, may hahanapin ba Sa akin na POEA requirements since worker ang nakalagay sa visa Ko? Anybody who have been in a similar situation? Thanks!

I think someone addressed your concern on the other thread.
Immigration did question him, but they eventually allowed him to leave. I think he was travelling from Cebu and not from NAIA, so immigration may not be aware of such conditions on his visa. Just make sure you have the LOI given by CIC and be ready to explain that you are an Open Work Permit holder, so technically, you don't have an employer yet.

Thank you for the reply. Just wanted to find out if there were others who have had similar experiences when leaving via Manila. Am a bit nervous since there have already been cases where people missed their flights due to long lines at immigration. Will just prepare to explain what the OWP is and that I don't have a job waiting for me when I land. thanks again
