Hi All,
Does anyone have any thoughts on whether an articling law student (with a US JD and admission in a US state) at a Canadian law firm could qualify for TN status in Canada as a NAFTA professional (lawyer)? A law degree is required to work as an articling student in Canada. I spoke with a lawyer who suggested that it would probably work, but another one wasn't quite sure.
Thoughts?
Thanks.
