I am 99% sure I would qualify for a NAFTA Professionals Work Permit for Graphic Design based on:
- US Citizenship
- 12 years experience in qualified occupation
- Associates Degree
- Valid Job offer (graphic design)
I have read that the work permit can be issued at the port of entry or the CIC office in the US (New York). I fear packing up all of my belongings and moving, only to run the risk of any problems at the border. I would rather apply online or by mail first, then once I have the work permit in hand, I can move up north. Can a NAFTA Professional Work Permit can be done online or by mail -or- does it have to be in person?
Thanks!
