My wifes outland application

I'm having couple of questions regarding my wife's outland application.
According to the new tracker system, my wife's application showing eligibility completed, background check not started and i recieved pre arrival letter.
So, what does that indicate and my wife's PCC is more than one year old now. Is it still valid or not.if it is not valid? i have to apply for new pcc before ircc asks or i have to wait until they request for one.

You are better to ask this in the stickied thread, you are more likely to get a response.

I could be wrong, but I believe that the police clearance certificate is valid indefinitely. That even if the certificate itself is expired, as long as it was uploaded while valid, then they don't require a new one.

Just wait until they ask for one.

If you're somewhere where it takes a very long time or inconvenient, you might consider doing before, but understand it may be a waste, they don't always ask for them.
