We applied for CUAET as a family (husband, wife and 1 child) and in the application form we mentioned that we will go to CA together. But now I (husband and a father of a minor child) can not go to Canada and now we are planning that my wife to move to Canada with our child.

In general question is: is it a problem that we stated that we will go to Canada together but now she travels with our daughter (and without me)? (I will provide an authorization letter)

No issue

One more question: Should somebody else in addition to me sign an authorization letter? I mean someone like a notary or it is not required?

Sorry, I don't know
