My visa is about to expire

I am international student in Canada.I have just finished my studies and i have applied for my post graduation work permit through paper application. My application was received on 23rd June. but still today i haven't heard anything from cic yet. My stident visa is expiring at the end of this month. what should i do ?

If you have applied for a post-grad permit before your study permit expired, you have implied status and are allowed to stay.

Thank you for your reply.. can i keep working untill i get reply from cic ? or i have to stop working when my visa expires?

If you currently have an off-campus permit, your implied status means that you can continue working until your post-grad permit arrives.
