People are mentioning more points for Canadian graduates:

International students already have edge over others since they can secure a job offer and score 600 CRS points straight. Unless Canadian government wants to turn student visa into PR straight or they want to accept all the losers who could not get a job in Canada on their own, I don't think this rule will get a nod from the ministry. At least it doesn't make any sense to me, it will open the flood gates. Pay the tuition fee and u r a permanent resident. I don't think Canadian govt is going to set the bar so low.

Actually you are very wrong here, only a very very small number of Canadian Graduates gets the extra 600, coz for that you dont need a simple job offer but the LMIA, which is not easy to get. So majority of Canadian graduates compete with open CRS scores. and I am saying being a Canadian graduate but I got PR without LMIA or the extra 600 and I know the ground realties.

IMO what will happen is something like the old CEC, like if you worked in your field of study for a specific time (Say a year) and qualify for O,A, B NOC class, you would be given some extra advantage.
