My timeline - any similar cases or ideas?

Hi,

Here is my timeline... They sent me a letter to provide extra documents on March 29, 2012. I replied to them immediately. I called them in September to ask whether the documents have been received. They said yes and told me I probably would write my test in Nov/Dec. But nothing has been changed till now. Any ideas? It has been such a long time and I can't plan on any trip abroad. I know my friend only had two weeks between she got the notice of test and the actual test.

What extra documents did they ask you for? If its finger print I hear it takes about an extra year of processing an if RQ it's up to 2 years extra.

Thank you for your reply! It is neither of those. Just a document to verify the official name I am using. My name I usually use in my official documents is "AB C" but on my PR card, they put it as "A B C". Will that take long as well? They did not notify me they have transferred my documents to the local office. Maybe I should call and ask again.
