Recently I got my refusal letter. My profile is
SSC 4.80 (2016)
HSC 3.20 (2018)
Ielts 6.0
Liquid 30 lacs bdt (nearly 46,150 cad) (saving account)
assest 6 crores ( ca evaluated)(Nearly 2 crores in my mother's name and rest of the property in my uncle's)
Institution : Concordia University Of Edmonton
Program : Bachelor of science in environmental science
As i lost my father at the age of 7, i was raised by my paternal Uncle. We also live in an extended family and he bears all of my cost including educational from my childhood. So in my study permit application ,he was also my sponsor (I explained this why he is my sponsor in fund explanation letter though i did not submitted a separate letter for this which i will do in reapply and also father's dead certificate was submitted). My application was processed through an agency. 30lacs taka was kept for nearly 4 months in my uncle's business account (as transaction was good he wanted to show the money in this account . After that the agency said to my uncle to open a join account with me for transfer the money. In that new account, the maturity of that money was only 15 days before submitting my documents. I submitted all of the necessary documents except tax assessment papers though i have submitted tax clearance certificate of last two years of my sponsor and the tax assessments mentioned income were less than his real income. Now i want to reapply. I am going to seat for ielts to improve my score and want to apply in a reputed university by myself. This time my sponsor will increase my fund to 40 lacs (already kept 30lacs in my join account with him). I will also improve my study plan. My elder brother who is 29 years old and started his own business also willing to become my co- sponsor as he can't show big amount of money. From my childhood,my uncle bears all of my cost for that reason my mother(housewife) didn't save large amount of money for my study abroad and my brother started his business two years ago. When he was a student, my uncle also beared his educational expenses. Each and Every documents were legal. I want to apply for September intake to increase the maturity of the money. Please give me proper suggestion according to my situation. I was rejected in the following grounds :
1. Subsection 216(1) travel story
2.Subsection 216(1) purpose of your visit
3.Subsection 216(1) limited employment prospect in your country of resident
4.Subsection 216(1) current employment situation
5.Subsection 216(1) personal assets and financial status
6.Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) i am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in canada to pay the tuition fees for the course or the program of studies that you intended to study.
7.Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) i am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in canada to maintain yourself and the family member who are accompanying you ( please note that no one is accompanying me)
8.Pursuant to paragraph 220(c) i am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in canada to pay the cost of transporting yourself or family member who are accompanying you.
Thank you reading this long post

Hi. This is quite worrying because they just gave you all of the refusal reasons possible, especially the financial issue. It is hard to show your money when it comes from a business. What you need to do is trying to show them the source of the money, where does it come from NOT the total amount. What I did in my case is an attachment of all the tax document from the government. Or you can provide a list of some significant business transactions. Or a detailed bank statement with all the transactions. I hope that you clearly explained your relationship between you and your sponsorship and you did give some legals documents to show that he is your dad now. Improve your IELTS is good but remember that the refusal reason were based on your financial situation. So try to make that as clear as possible. Talk to your agent to see what can be improved. But dont let them control your application, this is your decision, your life. You ask them for suggestions but not let them do everything. Apparently they did not do their gob well so your application turned out with a lots of problems. Improve your study plan and explain your financial situation are the essential things to do now.
Good luck !

thank you so much for your reply. In my previous application my agent showed that my sponsor earns 8 lacs taka from business. But in reality he earns more than that. Can i increase his income in my next application?

As I said, increasing the amount is not as important as explaining where does the money comes from. Show them that your dad has a legal business with all the legal tax and bank documents and the income is stable. Dont really need to "increase his income". That will just give the visa officer more doubt about the legality of the income. Better stay with the amount provided and try to give more documents concerned.

Your case is quite complex.

I'd recommend:

1) Open your account, get the money transferred to your mother's account then to your account or get it transffered directly to your account obtain affidavit from your uncle that money is gifted to you.
2) Don't file the case until the statement is atlease 4 months old
3) Pay college fee and attach the fee receipt while filing (anyone can pay the college fee, there is no restriction who pays for college fee, your uncle can directly pay from his bank)
4) Obtain even better IELTS result
5) Show documents of land which is in your mother's name, don't show your uncle's land.
6) Give reasons and answer previous rejection reasons.

File the case.

My suggestion to you is little different. I haven't been through this issue ever but I have seen my friends have similar issue. I will share with you some related information which I think will be helpful to you.

I would say order GCMS notes first, you will get them in a month or so. These notes will give you more information about how and why the application was refused. During this time you can change your admission to September and also prepare all the necessary documents. You have to show how money from your uncles account has been transferred to your account. Also prepare a good SOP and address the all the stated concerns by the officer. The officer should be able to see a good transition in your career in terms of visit to Canada.

After you receive the GCMS notes you should be able to perfect your application based on what you see in the notes. Hope this helps you and approves you application for September.

I forgot to mention 2 more points. You have to explain how your uncle is taking care of you after your father passed away. Provide your uncles birth certificate and your mothers certificate to show same father name. Also, provide a better explanation about the tax receipts and other information related to your uncles employment.

money is already in my account which is joined with my uncle. I have submitted land documents which is nearly 2 crores in my mother's name. There are few lands in my grandfather's name (both paternal and maternal) which can be inherited by me. So i am planning to submit succession certificate.

Get money transferred to your only account. Why a joint account?
Because of the maturity of the money. If i transfer the money to a new account it will be new. On the other hand, i am applying after few months. If i apply for fall my fund's maturity will be 6 months. In my previous application, my fund's had no maturity. Maybe that's why visa officer doubted. As this fund is only for my education purpose, we have not withdrawn a single money. If Visa officer see that the fund is stable for a long time,i think it will be beneficial. That's why i am not opening a new account for transferring the money. One more thing,in my previous application, my uncle's business account has not much money. In here maybe visa officer doubted that he do not has enough money to do business and survive his family if he gives me the fund. As we have clothing business, after this Eid INN SHA ALLAH he will have some more liquid money.
