Statement Of Purpose
I am writing this letter with a request to re-consider my Visa application which has been rejected by you on grounds that my previous education is not reasonable with the program I have chosen to study at Conestoga College.
As you will from the attached certificates, I was doing Bachelors in Digital Animation and Visual Effects in Filmmaking (3 year degree course) at Reliance Big Aims Academy, Delhi, as I was having keen Interest in Television and Broadcasting. But I was not getting practical demonstrations and apt theoretical knowledge as required. I did my 12th from Science stream as my parents insisted and was their choice for me.
While studying and talking to overseas students, I found that the skills I had acquired at Reliance Big Aims were not adequate to meet the requirement for advance Television-broadcasting, so I can be up to date in this competitive world. My dad and I did a lot of research talking to people in the animation industry as well as researching on the internet, According to my research until now, advance Television-broadcasting at Indian Institution does not exist. I wanted to study at institution which gives me advance knowledge and get exposed to international methods. I looked at websites and did comparisons of many reputed colleges for past Six Months. After all of my research I found that the intensive two year curriculum at Conestoga College met all of my requirements.
Conestoga College is highly acknowledged by all the broadcasting offices in India as well. I was confident that I would get the best education from world class faculty at Conestoga College. The mounting competition among the international and domestic corporations has laid down new rules of the game. When I’ll be done with the Certificate at Conestoga college Graduates find employment as videographers, video editors, creative writers, audio and video production personnel, video journalists, performers, directors, sound recordists , as well as other pre and post production positions. Therefore, I am confident in getting good job offers on my return to India because India has one the world's biggest Cinema industry (Bollywood).
My objective for a “Under Graduate Certificate Broadcast-Television” is to get involved in such a course which could help me in achieving my goal as the mounting competition among the international and domestic corporations has laid down new rules of the game.
