Hello there,

My sister and I both passed the exam this October and November. She passed hers on October 30th and I passed mine on November 7. I was informed by my sister that when she did her interview, everything went well and she passed then the citizenship officer told her that he'll be taking her PR Card and it will be returned to her on the day that she will be making the oath. However when I did my interview, everything went well but they did not take my PR Card. Does this mean anything? Or anyone that has the same experience as me?

1. The first officer got it wrong. The PR card is supposed to be taken at the Oath Ceremony, not before, as it is your evidence that you are a PR until you become a citizen.

Was there any red flag during her interview with the officer? It looked it they confiscated her card in which they wouldn’t do it in any normal situation.
