My score just rose from 456 to 481 but seems like there's a mistake?

Hi everyone, I updated my work experience and CRS now says my points are 481. When I was adding work experience, I put the months when I started and left, so let's say I began Jan 5, 2018 and ended Jan 5, 2019 = 12 months.

There are no fields for putting exact dates on the EE profile.

According to my calculations, I currently have 2 years and 10 months of work experience. Somehow CRS calculated that I meet 3 years, I think because maybe they counted the months that I didn't work -- e.g. I worked until July 5th but they counted the whole month of July, until the 31st.

Does this mean I should readjust my fields so that even if I technically left my job on July 1st, I should put down June?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Because your experience is more than 1 year , you’ve already met the Minimum Entry Criteria for Express entry. If you receive an ITA only submit your application after you have completed the 3 years fully. You can always decline an ITA if you won’t complete 3 years of work before submitting and it won’t affect your application. I submitted my application after I worked 2 years even though I got ITA 1 year 11 months
