I sent in my applications and matched all the dates of my vacation over the last 4 years to that of the stamps in the passprt.

I was just looking over the application after I sent it and realised there isn't a stamp in the passport for a 2 week vacation that was taken and I didnt list it because I had forgotten.

Does anyone know 100% that they check any system or will they go on the date stamps in the passport?

Ia m wondering if this will get found out and my application rejected, at which point and how long into the process, or if I will be OK?

You have the following options:

1) Withdraw your application and apply again when you meet the requirements. You must have met the 1095 days in Canada on the day before you sign your application.

2) Take the chance that they will find out about your trip and send your application to residency questionnaire where it will take forever and you end up in an interview where you will have to defend your forgetting your 2 week trip and ask pretty please to give you citizenship even though you didn't meet the requirements when you applied. Best case they don't find out about your trip, I think that is actually likely if you don't even have a passport stamp for it and worst case, they might refuse you citizenship after the interview and you would have to apply again.

Either way I'm screwed as you think they will def know about the absences, even though its not stamped on passport?

Actually, I think you will get away with it. I think it is likely they will not find out about your trip. You know they don't have complete records, judging from the number of people who seem to have managed to get citizenship by lying even with very minimal time in Canada.

wow, does this mean that they don't compare the stamps or the application to a record of thier own?

what happens when we land in to Canada from over seas. don't they keep this landing mark somewhere as a record, and they compare to it at a later date if needed? most needed when someone applies for citizenship!!!

interesting!!

They have access to airline manifests and also share records with US customs (to cover land crossings). Sometimes they verify these records for citizenship applications and sometimes they don't.
