My passport will expire before spending 3 years after graduation, what to do?

I am planning to study for next Sep. 2017 for a Diploma of full-time of 2 years.

The issue is that my passport will expire in August 2021. This means in less than 2 years after the finishing of the study program.

So, if i applied for post graduation work permit after the 2 years diploma, my passport would have only one year and around 10 months to expire. Should i still qualified to receive 3 years of PGWP? if no, what should i do?

1. The PGWP would be issued to the validity of the passport. Once you renew your passport, you apply to IRCC to extend your PGWP to the full term.
